How to remove grille on 97 blazer

Just wondering how to get those stupid spring clips off on a 97 Blazer grille. I took all the screws off but now I am left with the 4 clips that are at the bottom of the grille. I am guessing the headlights need to come out and then there is some secret way to remove the clips? I think sometimes carmakers make these little clips so they can see us squirm trying to get them off. They make a bunch of different ones in case we figure out the secret to one of them.

Thanks,
Keith

actually you don;t have to remove the headlights at all. The clips are built like a U with one leg longer than the other, The long get is attached to the grill. They get jammed in there pretty good sometimes but you just have to apply enough force. I usually put my fingers in the grill right behind the clips, Hook my thumbs on the front of the bumper to get enough leverage. Just be sure you pull them straight out, If you twist it up or down you will break the grill. If not try a pair of extra long needle nose pliersto work on them one at a time.
