not only was my 2003 stolen but now I am having the hardest time with my INS Co. because they say the Passlock II prevents any theft without a key. (I had the only keys obviously)
Can anyone point me to the places I can find research/stats on stolen Passlocked trucks?
Any help is appreciated.

Bunch of bull from ins co. These can be easily opened (less than 30 seconds) and picked in less than 2 minutes doing it right....probably less time if you break a few things. Talk to your local locksmiths adn their local association. We pick these all the time. The key has nothing to do with it. GM had a great idea on these by putting the anti-theft devise in the ignition lock cylinder instead of the key.....so who needs a key as long as the switch is still there?
