hey people,
a guy cut me a deal for a 92 nissan sentra se-r. sr20de jdm engine (60k mileage), newly painted with a stage 2 turbo on it, blowout valve and boost gauges are on it to , for 6 grand.. is that good ???
the car is freshly painted, rims on it, performance clutch...... tht is basically it... what u think, the guy is a mechanic but said it gave him too many tickets and wants to try a new car...

Well I had someone with a similiar setup and same price respond to an ad I placed in the paper. The car was a 91 SE-R with a bluebird front mount, stage 3 clutch,JWT programmed ecu, JWT cams, JWT turbo, putting out a dyno proven 428hp (he said the trans wouldn't last long though).
I guess $6,000 is the going rate.
Personally I'd rather build my own before spending that kind of money on someone elses work. On the other hand, I'm having trouble finding the parts I need and starting from scratch is a B****!!!

That car will haul some major arse, but I'm not the kinda guy to just buy someone else's work. I'd want to build my own. Make sure that you're prepared to take care of a turbo Sentra though. You're gonna be spending a lot on gas and tires.
