I wanted to get full cat back on my 1988 civic hatch but I dont want the exhaust to come out on the right side where the slit in the bumber isnt cut. Is there a way you can run the exhaust pipes along the left of the car so it comes out on the correct side? Also where can I find catback but not including the muffler, just the pipes in between.

You want either a custom made exhaust or a system like Tanabe or Thermal.
Tanabe is like a "coffe can" muffler which exit's the car on the left side and the Thermal system has a setup like stock but performance is not sacraficed the muffler sit's sideways under the car and a pipe with a tip on it then exit's the car on the left side.
www.nopi.com has some picture's of each im sure go there and see what you like.

So there is room on the left side of the car where I can run an exhaust and not have a problem?

nope i tried running a pipe straight down the left side, but without using a plasma cutter, and moving some things, its impossible for it to go that way.

What does a plasma cutter have to do with anything?

becuase part of the frame is in the way on the left side, so unless you cut that piece off, you wont be running the exhuast down the left side of the car.

by saying running it down the left side you mean going through the same way along the left side by the rear wheels? i was thinking about doing it exact same as right side, only on the left so there's no big long piece of pipe sticking across the back of the car... thoughts?

yea thats what i was saying, i wanted to run the pipes down the left side of the car and straight out the back, instead of doing all the bends for the right side, but there isnt enough room.

well part of the frame, and the rear suspension along with a few brake line needed to be moved, wasnt worth it in my eyes, so i just ran it straight back on the right side, i dont care if there isnt a notch for the exhuast.
