Wiring NEONs

I have had 2 nine inch NEONs under my dash, one 12 inch in my rear window...i have them wired in a series to my battery (i.e. a ground wire at one end, then to postive)...my problem is that the postive wire on my battery looks ghetto stickin out there under my intake and stuff and i was wondering how i could wire it to a fuse. the last time i tried the cigarette lighter fuse and i blew the starter, headlights, and wipers... :nono: i was looking today behind the change dish thingy and saw a "seat warmer" fuse...could i use that cuz i dont have seat warmer...is that an open fuse? are there more of those on a gen 3 LE? :banghead: is it better to use a fuse or the battery?... my Lights are all custom to a switch and stuff, they look nice (hidden and bright) ... i love my engine too, i just dont want it too look all ricey...help! thanks in advance
