how many models are in there? i ask because my friend is in the air force and hes gonna send me some stuff from over there so i wanted all of the initial d cars. thank you for your help.

Just get the Fujimi ones. The Aoshima ones are BS.
Theres 21 all up. Some are kinda the same though. Like the Trueno, and Trueno comic ver. Only diff is that comic version has a carbon bonnet. Theres also the option of model with characters.

the trueno with the figures is alil faulty with the axle.

i only found 4 of the Aoshima ones where can i get the other 17 lol

Could anyone explain what Initial D actually is??? I looked at HLJ, but I didn't really understand. Is there somehting special about these cars???

Alright :sly: So those cars look cool, you say... Are those kits curbside or not??? At the pictures they don't look that awesome actually IMO... Maybe as model they look cool. Will check em out here on AF.

They didnt make a model of Shingos EG6. You have to use an EG6 model and make a new frount bumper. turbos86 made an awesome one. If you do a search it will come up for sure.

fujimi did not make EG6 initial D. You need to get a Hasegawa Civic SIR/EG4, and then convert it.

initial d was origianally a comic in japan the anime series came afterwards. The Manga is better IMO.

i only know the videos....
btw does anybody knows where to get the FC3s with figures? ...besides waiting for it on ebay

I got all my models from an anime shop (sil-eighty, FC and FD models). I've also read somewhere that these models, at one time, came with small motors to propel them. One of them I know came with a battery holder for the motor, but no motor. If you can't find them in an anime store or in a hobby shop, or HLJ, ebay would be the best place to get them. I got a Savanna Carbiolet from ebay for like $10 and it was brand spanking new, so i'd suggest Ebay anyway...it's probably cheaper (Each Initial D model in the store was $30)
