How the he;l do u remove the shift knob from a 99` cavalier? i read that u put the e-brake on and put the shift to "1" and then pull n it comes right off..but that didnt happen. can some one help me please?!?!?!

There should be a U-pin in the front of the shift knob that you pull out.
