subject explains it all, Alpine or Pioneer?

You'll get better sound out of the Alpine, but the Pioneer is definetely prettier. I guess it's just where your priorities lie. I like having a good looking deck that gets the job done so I've gone with Pioneer twice and will be for a third time now. But if I really wanted sound quality I'd go for the Alpine.

yea, i think im gonna go with the alpine.it has a bass engine,and higher pre amp voltage, which i dont know if i'll be needing. how exactly does it work and the alpine doesnt look that bad.

goodness, I just noticed, but Pioneer has really skimped on that part. My old Premier 740MP used 6 volt preamps, but their new 760MP uses 2 volt, WTF? You'll be pretty happy with the alpine I guarantee it.

Alpine has tons of features to adjust sound quality. Sounds cleaner too.
