start shading at the very edge of the hood.....(left side) using a reference pic for shading

no dont start shading
put up the reference pic, something doesnt look right
300zx...i dont think people draw those, maybe like one or two people drew that car here...nice to see you drawing it...lots of dot dot dots, haha
yeah, outlines take me a long time too but practice makes perfect
looks cool
reference reference reference
oh and for the shading, i usually do all the blacks first, the deep blacks like the shadow, tire, and window trim then i go from there..

Gettin better LilGmoney,
Maybe your scan doesn't do the overall drawing justice. I might suggest making those dark areas darker. Your wheels kinda fall off on the back side. It could be mechanical. Try to draw with your arm more. The longer smoother arc will serve you well.
Overall...Thumbs up.
Do more.

rims need work, and so does shading, if sumthing it totally dark in the pic, it should be totally dark in your drawing...the wheels should be darker and also the body kit indents need to be way darker

looks like verging on kartoon kar layout. car is stubby. it is ok at this point, but make a choice: kartoon or reality. make that choice.
if you go kartoon, you still need to know reality. so it is not easy either way. get a model of that car. study the model. hold it in your hand. look at it from many angles. watch to see how it behaves. know the enemy and make it your ally.
observe how 3-d space alters the car that you think you know so well. you will see that you do not really know it as well as you think you do.
cheers, mate.:)
