This may sound stupid but I can't seem to find my timing marks:confused: . I know the procedure to set the timing and I have a timing gun but I can't find the marks. Can anyone help me please. If it makes a difference my car is a 2k G20.

Jeez that's a tough one to describe. Open your hood and stand by the passanger side wheel. Look at the 'front*' of the motor. You'll see a bunch of pullies. Look for the biggest one and you'll see a 'pin' sticking out from the block. That's what you use to line up the timing marks. You might not be able to see the marks because they might be on the underside of the main pully when you look at it. But you could roll you car or turn over the motor they will eventually come up. I doubt you'll be able to see them when the car is running without a timing light.

* Most people incorrectly assume that the passanger side of the motor is either the left or right side of the motor when in fact it is technically the front.
