Hey Every1!

I never considered myself an artist andnever though i could actualy draw, most of the time i draw graffiti or comics just to entertain myself and my frnds. Couple of weeks ago when i was in skool i got realy bored and decided to draw some cars so i went to the library found some reference pics on internet and started drawing i got realy intrested so when i finished drawing my first car it was already an end of the skool day :screwy: and the same story happened next day and the day after and i actually missed one week of skool :uhoh: but i gues it was worth it. I used three basic tools: Pencil, Eraser, A4 Paper.
Comments on how to improve the drawings and critisisms are very welcome! :icon16:

Those look cool. I like the last one best.
Work on the size of your wheels, they look too small.

OK. First thing I want to say is that you can draw proportions quite well :) and I like your grill's.

Now, lets go to the things you need to improve :)

Draw on plain paper!

You need to be more consistent with your wheels. There ok on the Lexus and Subaru, but on the rest they need lots of improvement. The tyre is usually black, the rims silver, and the inside also black.

On the Lada they look like trolley wheels! They need to be much larger!

Your shading could be better, though its not that bad for a first try :)

It looks like you shaded black things black, white things white, and the body grey. You need to add more values (pencil shades) to make your cars look more real. You have ignored things like reflections and windows (except the Subaru).

You also look like you have smudged your cars with your finger. This is not a good idea as the oil on your finger makes the smudges inconsistent. If your going to smudge use a tissue (though smudging gives the impression your to lazy to shade).

So, main things to improve on are:

1. Wheels
2. Shading
3. Some reflections please!
4. Detail on windows
5. Smudging (though its usually better not to)

Overall, good for your first trys, but try and do what I said and you will be much better!

p.s how long does each one take?

did u use that paper for a grid? some of us use grids so its ok, u can tell, unless u didnt. I like the WRX the best. i think the lada 8 and skyline have too small wheels. good for ur first try!

THNX all of u guys!

Yea i know wheels suck badly as well as rims i just can't draw em properly thats why i left civic unfinished and what i do now is just drawing wheels on paper and trying to improve them cause i dont want to ruin civic.

I didnt use grid reference what i did was: i took a picture of a car and eyeballed it and then drew it on the 1 x 1 mm paper dunno why but its the only paper i can draw at least something on cause on plain paper proportions on my drawings are getting lost and it turns out to be mess but i'll try more!

For the Lada and Lexus, reference pix were stock cars and all that bodykit crap it was my tries to design and fantasize thigs rest of cars were same on ref pix.

it took me about 4-5 hours to drew each car.

Thnx for feedbacks and advises again!
