1996 Accord Side Mouldings

i have a 96 accord lx coupe, and i needed to know what to do to get the side mouldings (on the door) the same color as the rest of my car (heather mist metallic)....should i paint the existing ones or is there a way to obtain aftermarket ones that would just replace the factory ones?

i don't know if they sell them pre-painted. but it's more cost effective if you paint them yourself. each door moulding cost $80+/ea. you can buy a pint of your exact paint for about $50-$70...which is more than enough to paint it. only problem is...do you have a paintgun....if not just take them all the mouldings you want painted off, buy a pint of paint (body color code is on the driver side door jamb), and call around to a body shop to see how much they would paint it for you. should only be paint labor since you took them off already and provided the paint.
