Transmission problem

I love my transport but the transline went and put trans fluid into the radiator. now it sounds like a bicycle chain grinding when it up shifts, but it doesn't seem to slip. Do I need a new trans??? or could it be a simple problem??? Does anyone have a trans?? it has overdrive. we fixed the door window a common problem. had to replace the abs control unit, found a bad vasum line on the map sensor and had replaced the spark plug wires. was really runing great when the trans line went
