Does anyone know what you need to mount the front License plate on top of the front bumper?

That license plate mount comes stock as long as you live in a state that requires a front license plate.
If you dont and for some crazy reason want to add it on.. i'm sure your dealer has the part number.

mine came stock also, took it off the first day i had the car :D
but if you really want it, i'm sure the dealer has one, and you'll have to drill holes in your bumper to mount it also, if you don't have holes in your bumper already...:alien:

(wow, my first post)
I too took off that front bumper, but now there are these two big holes there.
Does anyone have a trick for hiding those?....
Kinda like a automotive spackle...Is there such a thing?

That is called "Bondo" . . .
It's the automotive equivalent of spackle . . . and no self-respecting automotive enthusiast would be caught dead recommending it to their most hated car-loving enemy . . .
So I'm not recommending it . . . how about a symmetrical decal that covers both holes simultaneously . . . I don't think I've ever seen someone do that . . .

I live in California and it is required. I dont know why but mine did not come with any holes drilled. It only had a temporary infiniti license plate in the back. Strange?

I wonder how hard it'd be to swap.
I got mine in Cali also, but with the front plate.

Only dealer near me was in Ohio, so they tacked the ugly thing on the front of my car, I ripped it off the other day and it looks MUUUCH better, except for the two holes.... I found a place on the net that sells half size licences plates and I ordered up a silver one with a gold infiniti logo, I'll post pics, my sis's boyfriend has a red lexus with one and it looks pretty sharp..... As for an update on my car I got the guys insurance and called them and I'm waiting for a return call.... it still sucks I got rearended and only had my baby a week!

Bondo sucks no matter how you mix your Bondo it cracks in the long run. I would go with the Fiberglass Resin. It is a little more money but it worth it. When you go to sand it, it is a lot smoother. :banghead:
