seals and b-pillar

The guy that had my car before me painted the seal, b-pillar, and mirrors with some cheap paint and it looks really shitty. is there anything that would take the paint off but not harm the seals//plastic? thanks alot.

i say just take off, sand down to 600 grit, spray a nice black over it, then put a clear over that....
