annoying

Last night may 21st i was driving along showing a friend the town. we came to a stop light and there was an older model supra and a tibouron (sp)? revving their engines at each other so i hopped in the far left lane and revved mine too they all smiled the light turned and we went.... waxed them both i prob. had 2 cars just from the launch and i shut it down at 65 (didn't even get outta second) so we all were driving along i was going about 35 mph... a few seconds later a cop comes out of no where so i pulled over like i was going to turn off and he said " i cut a car off" so he charged me with driving with out do regard to public safety or personal property.. i mean he could have busted me for street racing but for doing something stupid he charged me.... and the supra was being a flamer and decided to go prob. 70mph + and the cop didn't do jack... i don't have a problem he gave me a ticket but when there are others doing stupider things that could seriously get someone hurt..... but i waxed a 2002-04? tibouron v6 and a older supra with e/i/h WOOHOO gotta love them 1.6 4 bang

your right..it is annoying..yet i have to say that it came in handy for me today..i was doing about 75 on the freeway when i came up real fast on a cop, i slammed hard on the brakes and looked at the cop to see what was gonna happen.

THe cop slowed down, got into my lane, right behind a sequoia,.... the sequoia switched lanes, the cops lights went on and i thought for sure i was screwed.

so i pulled over to the slow lane, about to move to the shoulder when the cop flys past me and goes after the sequoia that switced lanes.

It clicked in my head that while i was watching the sequoia switch lanes, he cut off another driver, and thats what the cop most likely pulled him over for .....but ya..i was just happy that it wasnt me

holy.. i heard them new tib's are pretty speedy.. like 170ish hp.. nice kills.. sucks about the ticket tho.. at least he didn't charge you for street racing, altho, i'm sure you're a much easier target than the other 2 who were probably long gone by the time you got pulled over

well the ticket doesn't have a fee. I have to go to court for it..... can we say attorney? .... the other were around me it was a 3 lane road so.... we were all kinda packed together. i suppose that's just how the cookie crumbles..i can now also say the ticket did help me learn one thing... (the "friend" was a chick from another country.) accents go along way in the bed. ;-)

i looked up the General statute (sp)? and it's listed under "wreckless driving" so i'm not sure what i'll get.... maybe i can get a nice little improper equipment charge?
