I think I'm the first person to successfully put a rear wiper in an std hatch. The hatch lid is all original with the correct hole size drilled into it. Yes drilled into it! After that, it was all wiring and I used the stock wiring too. Today I got it wired up and it's working wonderfully! I'm now getting it closer to being a dx. All I need now is the 5 speed and seats and I'm done!

first person ive heard of who wanted the rear wiper. a lot of people want STD hatches to put on Si's to get rid of the wiper, or they just shave the hole.

I don't get it though, why doesn't anyone like the rear wiper? It's serves a purpose. Look at most of the integ owners, they still have theirs on. I'm lovin it!

I have to wash my car like every day since I live on gravel, so the rear wiper is useless.
Also, I wanted a cleaner look, I also shaved te emblems and antenna.

The ridges on it are probably stripped out, epoxy will fix it.

Rear wiper is great when you have snow or condensation all over the rear window. Beats getting out and wiping it off or trying to use the defroster which takes forever.

I never used my wiper on my hatch. never really had a reason at all. Now with the crx I use it like maybe acouple time's now and then along with the rear defroster, the one on my old hatch never worked.
Well anyway congrats on the successful project, I know I get excited when I finish one and it turn's out good.

When i bought a new wiper for mine it did the same thing. So I just bent the top part of the wiper blade holder frame and now it works perfectly. A slight bend will do it.
