sounds like your motor is going bad. they usually get weak right before they go out. best bet would be take to window repair place if you're not mechanically inclined.

I had the same problem on my 91 rear window. Before buying a new window motor (which is not cheap), carefully remove the cover panel off the gate and the plastic cover under it. Inside you'll see a lot of gears and levers, and most likely dirt and rust. Clean up all the old nasty lithium grease, dirt and rust from all the moving surfaces and then reapply new white lithium grease to those surfaces. Close the door and raise/lower the window a few times. Open the door and recheck all the areas to make sure they're still clean, if not, clean them again and reapply the grease. Repeat. That should get your window working again. If not, then it's probably the moter.
Do not use WD40 on these parts!! It wears off quickly and removes the lithium from the parts.
