Tail light replacement

Any tips on how to remove tail light lens to replace bulbs? On my 2001 Blazer it appears that the pnuematic tube assembly that controls the lower hatch has to be removed to access the screw to take of the tail light lens. I don't know how to do this. Thanks

There is a clip that holds that pnuematic shock on. If you look just below the clip you will see a little notch where a small screwdriver would slide into. Slide your screwdriver under that clip and pull out slightly, DO NOT remove clip all the way. Once you have the clip slid back slightly, gently pull on the shock and it should come off. After that all you have to do is remove the 2 screws visible from the tail gate jamb. Remove those and pull straight out on the tail light and it should come off. There is a stud used for a guide on the back of the tail light but its not bolted to anything. Good luck.
