Am I alone here?

Does anyone else talk to their car when they drive? It just occurred to me earlier that maybe it was wierd. . .

I did once when I gave its first car wash by me. I haven't talked to it since.

Sometimes when i'm fake racing somebody (ie I accelerate hard while the other driver is unaware of whats happening) I say stuff like 'come on buddy, lets show this ese how to race' or something.

nope i don't think ive ever talked to it but ive tapped the dashboard every time i go under a yellow light and make a wish :screwy:

Yep. Often.

Usually along the lines of "Start you worthless hunk of crap".

When I was driving the Neon I never talked to it, just cursed at it. The Saturn however, gets a few thank you's a day for getting me where I need to go and not complaining :)

Good to know I've not gone of the deep end. . . or at least I'm not alone there. :screwy:

I talk to Sophie all the time. She gets disciplined when she's bad, and she gets rewarded when she's good. :D

No, I don't talk to machines. Well, okay, one time I was talking to the printer to creep people out, talking to it like somebody would talk to a dog "you're a good printer, yes you are." :)

no... Like 2strokebloke I don't really talk to machines, I'll physically strike it or tear it apart if I'm angry, but talking to it won't do it any good.
