Like around the 1700's the people who were chubby were considered beautiful and sexy because the chub signified they had money and didn't have to do manual labor.

Now, if all girls were as hot as the beautiful Stacy Keibler pictured above. Would guys tend to seek out exotic fat chicks?

Well it is true!!! It all depends on your surroundings and what your culture thinks is sexy. For instance here in North America, our preferences changed overtime. It used to be skinny skinny girls with short hair...then moved on to slim girls with big knockers, and nowadays just add a nice round behind to that and it's your typical hottie. But in other areas like Africa..women that have more curves overall are considered hot. So who knows what we will consider hot in the next 10-20 years

sorry to the *edit*FAT chicks ( :eek7: ) but they won't be sought for even if hot chicks are the norm. Reason why I know is if you go to Italy, where almost all the chicks there are very slim and fine looking, even the older females are very slim. The fat chicks there are still not sought for, if they were men would be leavin the country and goin for fat chicks elsewhere.

That's exactly it...that's why in the 1700s fat was in, because it meant the person was wealthy enough to be well fed, and able to survive famine with their stores of built up weight.

Nowadays it's opposite. Almost everybody can afford enough food, and it's the food that's horrible for you that's cheap. So now it's the upper class that's thin, with their gym memberships and healthy expensive restaurants. So that becomes the desired bodytype.

And even with the varying tastes throughout history, they've done studies and found that through the years men have ALWAYS preferred a woman whose waist is about 70-80% of her hips measurement. Turns out women with that ratio are more fertile and able to produce children. Almost all the desireable traits in women (breasts, big eyes, big lips, etc) are signs of fertility and health.

There was a time when men would bump the blump, it was a nice thing to have something soft to hold onto, a lot to hold onto in fact...

BECAUSE it used to be advantageous to have a slow metabolism. The less food you could get by on, the better, and the more your body automatically stored up, the better. Food used to be scarce. Fat WAS healthy...it may kill you 50 years down the road, but starvation doesn't wait 50 years.

well, you have to remember, back then, fat would not have been too incredibly unhealthy......because nowadays we associate fat with heart problems and such, basically because of the nature of the fat peoples' diets. back then, if someone was fat, they weren't getting fat off of heart unhealthy foods like potato chips, and McDonalds which is LOADED with saturated fat and hydrogenated oils. back then they simply did not have access to such foods, and the fat would come from incredibly more healthy means. so, actually, it might NOT killyou off in 50 years

The attractiveness of any female is determined by many things.

A couple of weeks ago I met a friend of a friend at uni named Jo (Joanne) who is drop fucking dead gorgeous. Dark curly hair, light skin with a few freckles that tans quite well and a completely toned body. There are females on every uni campus that look like this (or similarly physically attractive), but you can only judge true attractiveness after a conversation with them. This demonstrates intelligence, humour and personality. That is why I cannot look at airbrushed pictures of a female and tell you how good looking she is. I have no idea.
