I have just recently blown the motor in my 92 eclipse and i am now looking for an engine swap. I hear a lot of people saying that converting an RS to a GSX is just plain dumb. Has anyone made their FWD to a AWD. I would like to covert my car but i dont know enought yet. Can it be done and if so how?

Anything can be done with enough money.
That being said, sell your RS once you replace the motor and buy a GSX.

That would probly be the best way. My plan is to find a cheap totaled GSX with a good drive train.

i'm planning on doing an AWD spyder project this winter... whenever i can get the GST sold!! or i can trade it for a spyder! it should be a fun and educational project!

I'm sure it's possible. I was reading in a magazine today where a guy converted his eclipse gsx to rwd. So yea, I'm sure you could do it, it'd just be expensive and timely.

Thanks Urban_Squrill (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=167408) for the link. That will surely help. And would anyone know where to find a gsx for cheap.
