"Right side Rear controll arm Bushings"

Boy, that alone is a massive PITA. Sounds about right for the work done. Parts+Labor=750

On the left side of item 6 there are two bushings there that require the removal of the complete trailing arm. This process is also done when reindexing the torsion bars. There are lots of big bolts that don't want to come off, plus there isn't much space to work around.

You have to set the splines right on the torsion bar, you can't just throw it all back together. Your car will sit crooked, ask me how I know. Paint marking helps tremendously.

Items 3 and 14 are your other bushings, but they are relatively easy.

Oh, yeah, this is the best time to lower your rear end while youre in there.

Don't forget you will now need a 4 wheel alignment. And don't bother going to a chain store for the alignment because the don't have the special tools to adjust toe in the rear.

Also think twice about using polyurathane bushings for the street. They squeek and groan alot and the gains are not noticible on the street

Urethane bushings wear quickly and cause slop in the suspension parts.

Finding the shop that knows how to do the wheel alignment is the key. No real special tools outside of what most alignment shops have. Check this out:

I am really enjoying this site...and as far as lowering?I like the way my car looks for now..what's the shop rates where you guys are?I am currently paying 75 an hour CDN..and having the work done by Guelph Import service..Certified Bosch mechanic..if that means anything..I'll have to see what it's like after..Cuz honestly I have no Idea what to look for when it's broke or fixed..what is gonna be different when the bushing and all are fixed?...oh and yeah 4 wheel alignment is included in the price..I would be :screwy: to drive away without...

LOWER?show me one lowered
heres mine now...
