resonators

is there a pic of the resonators on a 2000 eclipse 4cly where i can take it off it is supposed to make a slightly louder noise right thanks

from my understanding, the resonators are inside the exhaust pipes. so finding a picture might be kinda hard. but you could check the websites of companies the make exhaust systems. im pretty sure one of them show a picture of a cross section of the exhaust piping which could show one of the resonators. and yes removing them will make it have a louder noise.

Not only will the sound be louder, it will be raspier. I do not recommend you removing them.

If you do, replace it with a glasspack muffler from Summit Racing.
