People say that launching causes problems with cars down the line. Like either engine wear or clutch wear. When I goto the street races people launch their cars at like 5 ,6 grand when they warm up tires. I was just wondering if launchin at certaim RPMS causes damage to your car besides tires.

with a stock clutch yes if you launch at a high rpm it will decrease the life of your clutch thats why they sell after market performance clutch and flywheel so that it can handle being dropped at high rpm

How high can you launch without decreasing the life of your clutch.

Enough so it doesn't slip too badly, like 3,000.. but then you'll lose.
