My friend has a 1990 Honda CRX and it has 108 hp or so with the D16A6 engine stock. He bought some beat up 1989 Integra LS for like 150 bucks. That I believe has D16A3 with like 118 hp. The CRX is SOHC and the Integra is DOHC but theres only a 118 HP increase. He said swapping will make the car soo much faster and all this. I wanted to know if hes right and if he was why?

It will make it a little faster not a whole lot, just 10hp and a little more torque.

The teg engine is a ZC, but its not the same ZC that everyone swaps into their 4ht gens. The common ZC DOHC swap is out of a JDM crx, which came stock with them. In order to fit that integra engine in your pals rex, it would take a shitload of work for just a few horses. If he wants a DOHC ZC, hes gotta buy one from an import parts dealer.
As for being faster, it woouldnt be much. If you plopped a JDM zc in there (130 hp) it owuld be much more noticable.
