k, it's me again. still have the same problems as in my other thread "ok, i need some help" but have found one more "clue" as to what it can be. i changed the oil pump cover and did everything else without success for fixing my bogging down, rough idleing, lack of power. i test drove it for a while and found that when i hit the gas a little bit heavy, there is a slight tap or click in the top end. my engine then misses, which is followed by a small backfire. someone has to know. need more info on problems or replaced parts look at my other thread. thanks alot to anyone that has tried/is trying to help me.

Possibly Coil Pack, Module, Coolent Temp sensor?

coolent temp sensor has been changed. would the coil packs or module cause it to only misfire when you first hit the gas?

i was under the impression that there would not be a pattern to when it would act up if it was the coil packs or module

Well, normally there will be a pattern, but sometimes there wont be. If the Module has an internal problem that only acts up under certain conditions, i.e. engine vibration, Temp, etc...

changed the ignitoin module and checked the coils. still has the same problem, only now it won't start if i tighten the housing all the way!!!
