wow... i'm not sure you should be playing with nitrous bro... no offense... my sugestion is to do some heavy research... there should be some tired search buttons when you get done. it's good to ask questions, but please try to come in with some self obtained knowledge. yes NOS will make you go fast. yes it may blow you up. try starting off in this forum and doing a search for N2O, nitrous, and NOS [all 3 are common references]

it wont do anything dramatic to you engien, if you use the rule of thumb 20 shot per cyl. i would spend 500 on and intake and exhaust before nos though

I also have a 96 eclipse nt with nitrous, My first mod was a nitrous and had no idea what i was doing, all I wanted was to go fast and ended up blowing my stock plastic intake because I didn't know that the bottle had to be at a certain pressure to spray, nitrous is alot of fun to use if you know what your doing, I purchased a nitrous work fogger kit and did the installation myself since im a installer, it wasn't to hard, the only hard part was spliting the fuel line but there are kits out there that would screw in to the fuel rail pressure test plug for easy installation. I would recomend starting with a 30 35 shot and work your way up, but dont spray more than 75 untill you do the bottom half of your motor and dont forget to retard your timing about 2 degrees. note 30 50 75 shot could run on stock fuel pump and air fuel ratio or a pryometer is a must so you dont run your engine lean, and check your plugs often they will foul up very quickly depending how much you spray, if you dont your car will back fire at idle and upon take off for the reason of fouled plugs. I also recomend autolite resistor plugs and gap it .32 thousand they are cheap and they will last longer than any plugs out there, trust me I tried them all.
