Is ABS Hydraulic Module really necessary??

Hi, I have a Tiburon 98 and my ABS Hydraulic Module is damaged, I didn't like the ABS anyway so, it is possible to just deactivate that module (I mean, just turn it off by taking its fuse out) and the car still work?, if so, how can it be done?, just taking the fuse out and that's all?
