catch up to a z06

what type of parts besides a supercharger, some headers, K&N air intake, and an exhaust would i need for my z28 to catch up to a 04' z06

yeah by that time i would have chrome Z06 rims that are 9.5 inch wide 17"s in the front, and 10.5 inch wide in the back 18"s :)

to catch a z06 all you need is, another z06...

hell, sound like thats all you need. along with some top of the line tires and maybe a clutch upgrade if you've got a stick. i beleive thats all you need to run 12.4

btw: nitrous isn't a bad idea either :evillol:

if you have limitless funds you could always hit up that lingenfelter guy, god rest his soul...

stroker kit.. turn that plain ole Z28 into a 383.. yeehaw! that's supposed to add around 100hp.. costs as much as my V6 camaro did.. but it's more than likely worth it!

and youngvr4 what about in an auto what do you think the quarter mile will be?

get a stroker kit and find you some LT4 heads
and intake.......that will make your Z scream.

auto isn't that bad, actually get a chip, program your gears. you got the lt1 or the ls1?

my 383 stroked LT1 is for sale.....run 11's all day long with it. 10's if you want to spray it, it will hold since it has forged pistons, rods, and crank.... No LT4 heads, But I am sure my MTI ported LT1 heads with 2.00/1.65 Ferrea Valves flow a lot better than the LT4 heads, LOL.

Are you going for top end then or acceleration? because if your only worried about 1/4 much easier than try to top out a Z06. Trust me even with a 383 (which will cost way more than the kit in the machine shop, I know I have a spare motor I'm dropping in this summer) won't even be able to take out one on the highway . They have alot of advantages other than horsepower.
