Clutch Questions!!

I have a question. i am wanting to put a new clutch on my b18b1, my question is what is the best brand out there? I am planning to go with a clutchmasters stage 5 clutch. but i just want to know if there is anyother brands out there that are better than clutchmasters or a certain brand u guys recommend. thanks!! :smile:

Id recommend a ACT clutch
they have good race clutches and my cousin has one in his crx it is a great company and has never given him any problems

I personally dont like exedy too much, so id stay away from them

is your b18 turbo charged? if not then a stage 5 will be too much. stage 5 clutches are not spring loaded, they are the puck style. i have a clutch masters stage 2 with my b18 and it grabs very good and is still pretty drivable. just some things to consider.

No its not supercharged or turbo. all it has is some aem cam gears and headers. i know the stage 5 is a puck style clutch. but once i swap the engine in i dont plan on driving the as my daily driver. im just going to use it for racing.
