this has probally been answered before but i was wondering how long you can drive on aftermarket shocks with stock struts... i was thinking about Eibach sportline or pro kit

Just get some aftermarket struts.....you'll be need them later anyway so why don't you just get it at the same time when you buy springs..

it would be easier to do them at the same time but i didnt do it at the same time either, still havent, im not driving right now but someone told me up to 3 years but the ride quality will not be the same...of course

remember another factor is how many mile the stock struts have on them.

in general though you should be able to get a year with the pro kit and maybe a couple months with sportlines.

fyi...i did an experiment the other day and stuck my old struts that were good (125,000 miles) on with my pro kit springs. my stock back struts blew when i lowed the jack down. lol needless to say i wasted an hour of work for nothing. i would recomend KGB AGX shocks with the pro kit, and Koni Reds with the sportlines.
