Gettin even!

I finally got even with this guy with a littly modded v-tech prelude. I think he said it was a h22a or something? Hell i dont know, i still like to go by liters. Anyway he's beaten me early before. We had raced and he would BARELY inch on me as we kept going. No matter what the hell i did, revved it higher, tried to push the gas petal through the floor, shift as fast as i possible could without riping off my shifter, and i even considered there for a minute opening the door and throwing my passenger out, but about 2 seconds before i was going to do it i decided it prolly wasnt the best idea. Anyway when me and the prelude raced the first time he was alone and i was with my friend (the one i was going to throw out). So about 2-3 months later i meet this guy up in Buford, GA. He too is with a passenger as i was this time. HELL YEAH ITS ON!!!! So we get up to the redlight and as i'm sitting there about to stall it because my foot is shaking so bad, all the sudden the light turns green, i dump the damn clutch and my baby just takes off. I pulled about 1/2 a carlength ahead because of the reaction and traction (hey that rhymes) and there was sat. This time he didnt inch on me an inch (um......)anway so that's how it was me the exact same spot with him after i came out of 1st gear. Went to about 110mph and shut her down. I might have gone more but a car pulled out in front of me and i almost crashed because i had to swirve around it in the turning lane. I know, i know, street race where its safe but i had to get my revenge. :biggrin:

Actually i have no idea what i'm running in the 1/4. Everytime i race it seems to be on the street. Havent raced at a track yet. Probably 14.70's if i had to make a good estimate. Not fast but i guess it will do for now.

I agree that flywlsi is being a smart-ass, but you could at least type in paragraphs. It's a pain in the ass to read a big ol' blob.

actually i was just messing with fly. i have posted in a lot of threads he has been in and he is a really good guy. just speaks the truth like he said. which for some people the best thing is the truth(not applying to anyone in this thread)

Yeah, 5.0's arnt that fast really. Not after you drive it everyday. Seems to get slower everytime i get in the car. Any yeah, its stock except for h-pipe and a catback. Hell at least it sounds fast.
