2 questions:

1) I've never gotten quotes for a color change on my rex, but what does a good paint job usually cost?

2) If I decide to go with like a bright yellow or orange is that going to cost more?

thanks guys :)

1- For a nice job it costs around 3000$ CAN (so around 1800$ US). For a cheap job I can have it for 1000$ CAN (600$ US).

2- It depends what color is your car right now. It's easier to switch from lighter to darker than darker to lighter color so it might cost you more.

I think it really depends on whos doin it or what shop? Cause theres so many different prices out there. Well around here in illinois ranges from 400-7000! It just depends on whos doing it. Are you planning to paint inside your engine bay and door jams? It'll cost more.If you're getting pearls ..that'll cost a lil extra also.It also depends on how many coats you want. If you get more coats ..that'll cost extra also. So prices differ on what options u decide to pick.

yeah, those places like maaco or whatever can do it for like 400 bucks sometimes, but thats crappy. A quality job is gonna cost ya much more, around $3k usd if you get the works. I guess it depends on the type of paint and everything. Getting the door jambs painted is a bitch too, that is sometimes half the cost, but only needed if you are changing colors (which I guess you are). Around here, the most trusted places are the bodywork shops that fix wrecked cars and whatnot. Good luck - I suggest doing some research, asking friends if they know anyone who got their car painted, because a crappy paintjob is a big waste of money.
