big problems

ok i was at my freinds house and we were lookin at my car and all the sudden we heard some noises and we popped the hood and it kinda went away so we just sat and listened to the engine and found out that there was almost ZERO airflow. opened up the intake and still no suction. we took off the damn thing and it got better, so im not sure what to do about that. second and i think this is a big one. we checked the oil and the stick showed it as bein overfilled, the gauge said it was a little lower than normal. the check oil light was on and then we started it up and took off the oil cap on the head and NOTHING came out. we stuck a little towel inside it and nothin was on it after we reved the engine a little bit... so i have no freakin idea what the hell is wrong so if you have any adivce let me know

is it running ok?your post is confusing,was motor off when you checked dipstick,was motor running when oil light was on?

dose it have a oil gauge or a light? you said gauge was low and oil light was on. if gauge is low this means low pressure. if light is on this means low level or bad level sensor.
