Looks kinda funky, but I like it. I wish they would do something like that for PC so that I could have some more desk space.

THAT'S SO DARNED COOL! I've been waiting for the G4 iMac!!!
But what happened to all my pretty colors??? And if it runs Mac OS X I won't use it. Now I have to hope my computer is still broken so I can get one of them there critters! *lol*
Actually, I dunno. I like my pretty colors. That looks very clinical.

I like it. PC's are so bland. If Mac's were more supported, I would switch in an instant.

it is my understanding that Macs are better as far as using them for graphic design and what not. Every place I have gone where design work is done have used iMacs

It sure is better. The G4 processor is timed at 10ths of a second and more faster than even the pentium 4 processor on graphic design and the larger majority of music applications.

Thats the fake Civic TYPE R ricer of computers. It *MIGHT* look good...ehehe...but it preforms like CRAP, and you could get something 2x as fast for 1/2 the price ;)

also, just like to add that the P4 2.2 GHz and Athlon XP 2000+ RAPE the fastest G4 CPU in applications, EVEN Photoshop!

Too little too late...I have been an avid Mac user for about 10 years and during that time my Mac has crashed 1,035,983 times.
I'm going to give tjis OS X a try this weekend (400Mhz, G3, flat panel display) and if it doesn't keep my Mac from crashing once its going straight to eBay.
My next computer is going to be a PC regardless though.

Why's that? It's better than any MacOS and 10x better than any version of Windows! :p

I'm actually buying one in about 3 weeks :D:D:D:D

And as for the Mac/PC debate...well i work in a graphics/printing based industry and have used Mac's all my life...so bugger the cost ($3k AUD). I want to use what I'm comfortable with and enjoy using :)

I only had probs with my iMac just shy of 2 months ago, which was over a year of use w/o a glitch. Then my motherboard died on me, and I got that, the power switch, and power supply logic board replaced. I'm running OS9.0 and I like it. That damned OS X is so weird. All that bubbly stuff and stuff. It's so weird. I've used Macs for years and I love it. Why click on 8 icons when you could double click on one and accomplish the same thing.
Sham: What kinds of things are you running that it crashes??? Have you zapped your P RAM??? How about cleaning out your disabled extensions... Maybe you should try doing a restore in-place... Just a few suggestions.
As for Windoh's: What a foolish program!!! Your desktop is a nightmare visually. Nothing is compatible with another version. It's just goofy. And yes, I have worked a bit with Windows. I had a year of comp sci on Win 95 and now my Sony VAIO is running Me :apuke: *gag* I think I'll go 98 next...
Mac is simple, way easier to learn and use than anything IBM compatible, and is all around better b/c it wasn't cheaply stolen off someone else. Yes, I'm talking about your computer's beloved creator. Cheap bugger couldn't even come up with his own ideas, so he made a sh!tty rip-off of mine. And it's not like I haven't had Mac problems, but they are ever so much easier to fix than IBM... The only exception being the Power Computing Power Mac clone that has had OS 8.?? re-installed about 1,035,983 times.
