Could someone point me the way to some information, specs and pics of the 350Z Nismo Type E. I think a limited production model made to enable competition in the jgtc.

first off johnyrengo is a tight name. second there is no nismo type E. there is a S-tune and a R-tune nismo modifyed z car. well at least there is no type E that ive heard of maybe one of the other 350z owners have heard of it, but if it did exist it would be called an E-tune.

There is a Fairlady Type E... longer wheel-base and I believe it's a 2+2... dead-sexy!

this is what it says: Nissan recently took the veil off a future version of its 350Z sports car. Dubbed the Fairlady Z Type E ("E" stands for emotional), the car was created to be the foundation for Nismo's GT500-class entry in the Japanese GT racing championship.
The Fairlady Z Type E is noticeably longer than the current 350Z — 7.1 in. in front and 5.3 in. at the rear. The nose of the car is completely new, the front fenders are wider, while the rear is highlighted by a flamboyant wing (on the Nismo version only) and a spoiler lip located at the bottom of the rear bumper.
The Z Type E goes on sale this spring in Japan, with a price tag of about $60,000. Let's hope they bring some to the U.S. — SM

that's a beaut! could've used some more external modification and cosmetic changes. but $60K is too steep to sell here in the US. Hopefully, it won't have the same fate as 1996 Fairlady Z

u dont like the long nose look? look at the JGTC 350Z's and u might change ur mind. in fact i know if i got a Z i would try and find a long nose kit for it... veilside have a kit with the long nose front bar... it looks ok but veilside is notouriously over the top: the Type E nose looks more racey in a subtle way

just read the r&t article actually, in my hands as we speak...
the type e, they only made a handful to homologate (5 of them) the body styling for the jgtc...
but the type s GT is the s tuned car with the new kit on it... like the article says
