I have a Toyota Sequoia 2002 with the moon roof so it has the big ugly console on the top, with a hunderd sunglasses holder.

If anyone of you has been able to cut out the console and put and overhead LCD screen or a DVD combo there, I'd really really appreciate if you can send me some pictures of it. please mail then to [email protected].

I have this 10.4" DVD Combo that I want installed, but no one seems to be willing to cut the console and they've already put the support bracket behind the console which is too close to the second row, any help will be appreciated, Thanks!

i have a 2003 sequoia without the moonroof so it has all the consoles from the front to the center light. it is sooo annoying to have all those. i also wanted to have installed the flip down dvd but don't know how they are going to do it with all those consoles. the consoles connect to the homelink system so i don't know if it is even possible. if i put it just past the end of the console, it would be too far back from the second row to see. what a problem. i just started looking into the headrest systems, but they are soo much more money. good luck

Morning ...

I had the Rosen A10 10.2" unit ( http://www.rosenentertainment.com) installed w/ 3 year warranty locally for $1850. This thing rocks!! Huge screen, credit card size fully functional remote, games. It is slightly larger than the cavernous hole left by the factory center console so if you want to remove it before resale and put the factory console back in, it won't look too good.

Also, because of the huge sunroof, it mounts behind the front seats, not in the middle of them. So make sure what the seating positions and viewing angles of your kids are gonna be before you purchase. The angle is VERY adjustable.

Instead of using the FM modulator, I had mine jacked into the audio system. They set it up so I hit DISC twice on my changer, and it plays the DVD audio.

Also has the RCA video + stereo inputs for AUX like game consoles, or whatever video sources you can throw at it.

Its a lot of money, but the kids love it.

You really want to pimp it, get the dvd in the headrests & your kids will freak! Plus it doesn't impede on your rearward visibility.

Here is a link to what I did for about $2400 - worth every penny. I went w/ the 9" LCD's.

PS: Anyone know how to upload a pic? I tried to and it told me I couldn't, due to the file size. My camera doesn't take pics w/ less quality.
