stuck in two gears???

my automatic tranny is stuck in to gears 2nd and 4th, i have to take off on 2nd and shift it two 4th, and the D4 light stays on all the time????
need help pls....

check ATF level and add if needed.
if it has burned smell or brown color you need to replace it ASAP.

there is possibility you transmission is dead.
