Hi HORNUTTY, I was going to welcome you but as I joined after you perhaps it is not right!

Under Make: select Mazda
Under Model: Instead of choosing the drop-down....click on Other (just below the drop-down) And add Bongo Friendee
Hope this helps

Hi,
I had a lot of trouble adding the cars as well.

I think it was something odd, like cookies or activeX being enabled - normally I have all these things disabled by default (paranoid security settings).

Try looking at the cookie settings first, then script/activex components. It's a while ago, but I'm pretty sure I had to enable something in the security settings to get it to accept different car makes.

Hi,

I'm pretty sure I followed Manxman's method as above, but at first I kept getting thrown out. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly what option allowed me in, but I worked through the following settings...

If you're on Internet Explorer, check your security settings, I'm pretty sure I had to alter mine. (I'm a paranoid IE user, so I have most things disabled)

Go to "Tools" then select "Internet Options". Click the "Privacy" tab. Normally the Cookie settings are Medium, but it might be bouncing cookies, so set it to low.

Then click on the "Security" tab. Click on the "Custom Level". Scroll down the option buttons. Normally I have all ActiveX disabled, but I think I switched on ActiveX controls. I also switched on Scripting options, plus Java applets. Normally ActiveX is on by default and often Java is, so this may not be your problem, but it's worth a try.

My advice would be that if you change anything, just do it to get through the registration process and then restore everything as it was before, that's what I did. Personally I don't let ActiveX or Java run normally, it's too easy for malevolent code to mess up your system.

You can change the settings whilst you're on-line, so it's pretty quick. Register and then change everything back.

hope that works...

I had trouble too. In the end I entered 2 cars - the first was our vw golf, then Mazda, other, for the second car, then once it went through I just deleted the VW! (all without changing any internet settings...)
