it is a comp for a weed killer. i forget the name of it now. i did this about seven years ago. out of context, a lot of agency stuff makes little sense.
the dust is just dust. nothing is meant to be in it.

I get it...Sort of...Is that the weed killer type guy who works for the agency coming (or going) to (or from) another costumer? If not, then I don't get it either...

I like how the marker strokes flow in the direction the truck is driving. It really helps show the motion. I also like the consistency in how the light is rendered, and the varying marker strokes in the filed.
Lots to see in a little piece.
cool

That is sweet. :iceslolan
I like how you rendered the dirt.
I really need to learn how to do quick renderings w/ marker.
You may have said before, but what kind of markers are you using?
Thx

if i can retrace my brain matter memory from that time ago, the farmer in the truck is happily cruising past his acreage of healthy crops, confidently flouting the weeds with his bumper sticker; he just used his weed killer. and i think the brand is "liberty." it was for a mid-west client.
castback, the collaboration wolverine thing is great! i laughed out loud when i scrolled to see that come into view!
stuffbyalex, i had no idea it would elict such things. heh. (how dare you have that kind of an imagination -- what are you, an artist or something?)
lemorris, you are very aware of seeing. your points are spot-on, not just as nice words, but as technical landmarks. the marker strokes flow in the direction of the truck because we are *tracking* with the truck, and the lines help create convincing motion to that effect.
al, i am using chartpaks. i do mix it up with prismacolors and trias sometimes, but this drawing is about 90% chartpak ad markers, the xylene (i think) type. let me find a web site: http://www.dickblick.com/zz213/03/products.asp?param=0&ig_id=1133
