blown head gasket??

Is it possible that a blown head gasket will lead to too much pressure in the coolant hoses and then make them crack one by one. Lately My hoses keep on collapsing and I feel that the amount of pressure is not correct. Otherwise what would be other reasons for that pressure considering that my car doesn't over heat. My major problem is that freaking pressure.
