Can't get the bearing out !

Using a slide hammer, I can't budge the wheel bearing out of the axle housing on my 91 F-150. I can't keep the bolts on the claws tight enough. I broke one of the of the bolts that came with it, I bought better bolts and broke one of them too.
Any suggestions ?

Did it come out? I don't think I've seen a puller with bolts in it for that aplication. It should have like a half-moon piece thats threaded onto the puller that fits thru the ID of the bearing then opens up. Can be tight...
