We bought a 93 Isuzu Rodeo V6 4x4 3.2L. The guy said they changed
engines but it wouldn't start, and the header pipes were missing. We
never found the header pipes b/c the ones we need had a 3 bolt hole
flange connecting to the exhaust manifold and a 2 bold hole flange to the
Y pipe. The other problem is that it doesn't deliver a spark all the time,
only sometimes when ignition key was TURNING off. We bought an exact
replica of the truck it was hit in the front. We took off the header pipes
, they were 2 bolt holes on both ends, like everyone had tried to sell us,
plus the exhaust manifold bolt hole locations were different. Did the guy
put in a different engine?
On our Rodeo we changed the crankshaft sensor, module, plugs, coil
pack, neutral safety switch, ECM, ignition switch and clutch switch, no
camshaft switch. Still the same problem. Maybe because we have a
different model engine the ECM won't work with it.
