Side window molding?

Is there way to replace the seals on the back windows of my CRX?

Yeah, do a search for weather striping for it. company called SoftSeal makes really good ones, dont know if they offer it for that model though.

dealership only item, $36 per side... and heres the good news, you have remove your window to put it in! yay! its not too hard, just rip the old molding out, push a red hot wire through the rubber glue holding the window in, slide a peice of guitar wire through the hole and attatch vice grips to either end of the wire and get a friend to help you with the saw action. it will probly take you a few guitar strings per side. remember glass does not flex, so dont try to pry or tear the window off even if theres just a little peice of glue holding it!! Once you have the window out cut all the remaining glue off with a razor blade. Install the molding onto the window before putting it into the car, use a hair dryer to make the molding nice and flexible, if not it can crack when you try stretching it into position. then put a fatty bead of 3m window weld (automotive paint store only) in the window frame and press the glass into place. theres a clip built into the new molding and a hole for it at the back corner of the window frame, make sure you break the old one out of that hole before install. that about sums it up.... put some 2" tape around the perimiter of the window so it wont move while the glue hardens, let it dry 12 hours before you go drivin

umn my window trim comes out with ease man, and i can put it back in without glueing or taking the window out....

I got sunroof stripping from here (even worked on my plexiglass custom sunroof bolted in... ps. I'm on my third sunroof... the cut was perfect but my friend botched the drilling... :banghead: so I have a big washer on one side...) Oh yeah, speaking of that, has anybody ever noticed that one side of their roof is slightly uneven than the other? The passenger side of my original sunroof rusted up and it's never been the same so there is a small gap on that side. It gets water in it but doesn't come inside the car. I really don't care though, the weight reduction was well worth it. I'll never be able to sell it though :disappoin

but you dont have to glue that piece, you can EASILY wedge it in there... thats how mine is in.

If they go in and out without cutting then its not an oem molding. The oem peice fits over the edge of the glass tightly and has a clip underneath that goes through the seam of window weld. there are aftermarket trim peices that cheap glass shops will use to save money that can pop in and out.
