is the Z slow

i personallt think the Z is pretty fast but alot of people think that it is really slow. what do u guys think of your Z's

Its fast by my standards. But people expected them to be faster, and twin turbo, so it was kind of a let down for the hardcore enthusiasts. But by all means, its not SLOW.

The 16's are slow...
The 15's are quick...
The 14's are fast
The 13's are damn fast...
the 12's are supercar speeds...

And if you're in the 11's are below you can run with a Saleen S7...

when my z was stock i will admit that it wassint as fast as a had thought that it would be. as for the 1/4 mile times; i dont think the z was built for the best 1/4 mile times. it was built for handling(with comfort in mine of course), for top speed(as you can tell with the zero-lift aerodynamics package), for braking power(if your z came with the brembos or you bought aftermarket brakes you know what im talking about),and for safty.

nissan took the safty part of their new flag ship very, very seriously. the drive shaft is made of carbon fiber not for performance; its made that way to crush back during a hard colision and work with the specialy designed motor and tranny mounts so that the motor and trans fall down below the pasenger compartment (rather that flying into it). also the z has a steel bar in the door for protection from side collisions. also, the 350z is designed as a very solid double mono-cock chassis with a crumple zone front and rear. all and all the z is designed to be safe and healthy for the environment before fast(not to say its not fast;IT IS)
