Hooking up a switch

I just bought a rear hatch for may hatchie and it came off an si. So it had the rear wiper and now I'm interested in finding out how to get it work. I found out that my car had the wires for the wiper but they just end up front at a plug. I bought a switch and mounted it, but now I'm stumped. The switch requires three wires (ground, accessory and power) but I don't know which wires to use?

Could someone explain how to hook one of these switches up and how to get the wiper running?

I've seen the diagrams for it but I don't know where to start.

The switch is illuminated correct? Ground= Ground it, Power= + Battey (also be wise to fuse it at 5 amp above wiper draw), and the accessory goes to the + wiper wire. Oh mine, 88 hatch DX, it only has two wires coming off the motor, a power and a ground, but I dont know for sure about yours. Just run one wire at a time and you wont have any problems.

Where from the battery is a good power source to pick up on for the power?

theres a main distribution thing on the underhood fuse box on the right fender, thats a good spot.
