my friend's m3

alright my friend says that he ordered a brand new blue 2002 m3.. and that he had it factory custimized wit a turbo, intake,exhaust.. bumping the hp to 348, then he said taht he got 2 12inch subs in the back, 20in rims, dvd, ps2 and n64.. all factory customized.. is that even possible? is he full of shit .. or did i just not kno that someone could ask the company to do that?:confused:

How old is this guy?? If you put a turbo on a new M3 would have a hell of alot more horse power than 348! stock it already has 333 hp. Your friend is definately pulling a 1st class bullshit. He would have to pay gobs of money to get any of that stuff put on at the factory, and i highly doubt that BMW would put ps2, dvd or 2 12 subs in.

Yeah thats utter crap. Maybe Brabus or a tuning house like that would put a turbo on it, but I haven't heard of it.

You certainly wouldn't get anything like that from the factory, the PS2 install and all that would have to be custom fitted.

Sounds like your friend is just trying to impress you.

oops.. i meant to put 398 hp.. im sorry.. thats what i told him about the ps2 and stuff.. hes like 17 or something.. hes says hes gonna bring in pic of his car tomorrow.. ill have to find out then.. anyway thnx for posting stuff..

He's full of it.... the only thing you can get on the car from the factory is the options that the factory lists.... www.bmwusa.com But who makes a turbo for the E46 M3 yet? The only one I have seen is for the E46 328... not even the 330.

like mentioned earlier. turboing a m3 will give you 400+hp. the intake and exhaust may give you about 350hp.

no matter what, the factory wouldnt do these customization. the guy is probably explaining his dream car.
liek hell, i wouldnt mind having a dvd player and a monitor to play ps2 and n64. but why?? its a sports car. not a SUV. if it was a suv i would install all those stuff. but this is an m3. your ruining the car
