Okay I did a little research today about the Honda engine mounts since I was told that it was the cause of my vibration problems, but can't find anything about a "left" engine mount. I see articles about the "rear" engine mount located by the firewall. Is the rear the same as the left?

Here's a picture of what is called the rear engine mount:

The term "left" (which I believe is the correct one) refers to the position on the motor, not on the car. So - yes - the LEFT motor mount is towards the REAR of the car (next to the firewall).

I imagine a good manual (Chilton's e.g.) would give you the instructions you need. You should invest in one anyway, because changing the motor mounts involves more than just unbolting the old one and putting in a new one -- the mount has to be preloaded correctly before tightening the bolts.

Either you didn't read the right section, or you have some sort of "lite" Chilton's. For example, for the 94-95, in the section describing engine remove/replace, there are full-page diagrams, and preceise sequnce and toque settings for reinstalling the mounts. Specifically, it says "When installing the engine mounts and vibration dampers in the following steps, they must be tightened to the correct tension in the correct order if they are to dampen vibration properly." In the 90-93 it's different, with a 12-step bolt-tightening sequence!
Glad you got it installed. Hope you aren't disappointed with the result.
