There was a skyline for sale a while back on this site here is the link. It was an insurance claim vehicle that was a theft recovery. According to these people the say that it is now US legal. Do you think this is for real? I'm sure they will get other cars like this all the time.

HAHAHa true....shoot i got my bnr32 for 6,800 usd
hopefully the previous owner wasnt a weekend r8cer...
but just saying though, i heard people where selling ex drift,race cars... these cars are really in bad shape....

Very good point. There are also a LOT of crash recovered vehicles bought in auctions in Tokyo. Watch out for gleaming new paint on one or two pannels.

true that.....i just look for any cars on the auction thats a grade 3.5 or better, its more expensive but thats the only thing i can say when buying a auction car.....so i guess you know lots too look for when buying at auctions...any tips for us at the forum?
